High Force is a beautiful sight with its 70 foot drop into a plunge pool making it England's highest uninterrupted waterfall. With its surrounding walks along the River Tees and its gift shop its a lovely visit.More information can be found here.

The Coach House and Gardens at Eggleston Hall are set in the grounds of the Georgian country house looking over the River Tees. Eggleston Abbey is located just outside of Barnard Castle with its picturesque views over the River Tees.
